As we commemorate this remarkable milestone, we invite you to explore our rich collection and take part in a variety of events designed to engage both seasoned genealogists and curious newcomers alike.
Our anniversary celebration kicks off with a series of informative articles and workshops throughout 2011. Highlights include "50 Things to Do in 2011 to Enhance Your Genealogical Journey," featuring practical advice ranging from visiting local archives to creating family scrapbooks. Additionally, we're excited to offer a comprehensive list of 50 resolutions tailored to enrich your genealogical pursuits.
Throughout the year, don't miss special events such as the National Black Genealogy Summit, WinterTech lectures on genealogy technology, and the "March Madness" series exploring various aspects of family history research. Our calendar is packed with opportunities to learn, connect, and grow your understanding of your roots.
As we honor this half-century legacy, we also look forward to guiding you through new methods of preserving your findings and navigating the evolving landscape of genealogical research. Stay tuned for more updates as we count down to our golden anniversary celebration, where we'll showcase the history and achievements of The Genealogy Center alongside your own family stories.
