The ACPL Seed Library, accessible at Little Turtle and Waynedale locations, invites city dwellers, suburban families, and rural growers to cultivate budget-friendly, healthy produce through complimentary seed distribution for beginners and experts alike.

How it works:

1. Explore physical collections at our branches or access the digital catalog via the seed list link available online.

2. Borrow up to eight seed packages annually through both virtual and in-person options, completing basic registration forms when visiting physically.

3. Nurture your plants, preserve harvests, and contribute back to community resources.

Our no-cost program thrives on collective stewardship—locally adapted seeds adapt better to regional conditions and resist common threats effectively.

Established through community advocacy led by Michael Martone, all offerings prioritize non-GMO and heritage varieties. For expanded guidance, connect with Purdue University Extension via their dedicated portal.

Online seed orders are dispatchable to any branch within seven business days. Our team will notify you upon readiness for collection.
