Dolly Parton’s Vision for Early Literacy

Inspired by her father’s challenges with literacy, Dolly Parton launched the Imagination Library in 1995 to foster a passion for reading among young children. The initiative delivers complimentary books each month to kids from birth until age five across Allen County, Indiana.

Supporting local efforts, the state of Indiana has pledged matching funds to amplify the program’s reach through its Next Level Agenda, effectively doubling the impact of every contribution.

Your generosity ensures that every dollar stretches further—$31 covers one child’s annual supply, $155 supports five, $310 aids ten, and $620 helps twenty children enjoy the magic of stories.

Act now! The Indiana match is available until June 30, 2026, allowing your gift to double in value. No extra steps required—just donate and watch your contribution multiply.
